Franciacorta: Guided Winery Tour with Tasting
Franciacorta is a land naturally suited to the production of high-quality traditional method sparkling wines, and this winery represents one of its most genuine expressions. It was founded in a historically significant setting, where tradition and contemporary vision coexist in perfect harmony. From the very first glance, the surrounding landscape conveys balance and meticulous care: perfectly aligned rows of vines, vineyards following the natural contours of the land, and a peaceful atmosphere that invites you to slow down, observe and truly listen.
As you enter the winery gates, you will be welcomed into an elegant yet informal environment, where hospitality is sincere and the relationship with visitors is warm and authentic. The experience begins outdoors with a walk through the vineyard-collection, a true open-air laboratory that showcases the biodiversity and richness of the grape varieties grown here. You will discover how the Franciacorta microclimate—shaped by the nearby lake and air currents—plays a key role in grape ripening and in defining the unique style of the wines.
Walking among the vines, your guide will share insights of agricultural choices, sustainability practices and respect for natural rhythms. Each vine is part of a larger ecosystem where nothing is left to chance: from soil management to harvest, every step contributes to creating balanced, elegant and distinctive wines. This is where the Franciacorta journey truly begins, long before the grapes reach the cellar.
The tour continues inside the production areas, where you will discover the true beating heart of the winery. The historic cellar, housed in a former wine shop dating back to the 1940s, retains a timeless charm. Among fermentation tanks, aging rooms and long underground corridors, you will learn about the stages of winemaking and the traditional method: from gentle grape pressing to the first fermentation, followed by the second fermentation in the bottle and long aging on the lees. A process that requires patience, precision and deep expertise.
Here you will understand how time is a fundamental ingredient in Franciacorta wine production. Each bottle rests for months, sometimes years, before being released, gaining complexity, finesse and aromatic depth. Tradition and innovation meet in perfect balance, creating wines that authentically express their territory without ever being excessive.
The tasting is the highlight of the experience—a guided sensory journey. In a welcoming and carefully curated setting, you will taste some of the winery’s most representative labels: Edea Brut Blanc de Blancs, fresh and refined; Satèn Brut Millesimato, creamy and enveloping; and Rosé Brut, elegant with fruity notes and a harmonious structure. Each wine is introduced through its aromas, structure and unique identity.
The wines are paired with breadsticks, taralli and shavings of Grana Padano DOP, carefully selected to enhance the characteristics of each Franciacorta without overpowering their balance. Simple yet thoughtful pairings that complete the tasting and make the experience both enjoyable and satisfying.
During the tasting, you will learn to recognize aromas, sensations and nuances, gaining a deeper understanding of wine and its connection to the land. The explanations are clear and engaging, making the experience ideal both for first-time visitors to the world of Franciacorta and for wine lovers eager to deepen their knowledge.
This experience is perfect for travelers who want to discover Franciacorta in an authentic way, away from crowded tourist routes, immersing themselves in a winery that prioritizes quality, hospitality and respect for the land. A chance to slow down, share a convivial moment and take home not only memories of excellent wines, but also the feeling of having experienced something truly genuine.
IMPORTANT: We recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater, as the temperature inside the cellar is cooler. Please inform us in advance of any food allergies or intolerances so the experience can be tailored to your needs, ensuring a pleasant visit for all participants. The winery will be happy to adapt the proposed pairings, creating a small customized menu that meets your requirements without compromising quality and balance. The winery is also pet-friendly: your four-legged friends are welcome!
